Meet Thomas the Turkey

I have this problem, I like to show my friend Jess all of the super cute knitting patterns I see. Well when I do, she happens to fall in love and beg me to knit them for her. So when I found this super cute Turkey Pattern by Susan B. Anderson, she fell in love and the begging commenced. So after a quick trip to WildFibers to get the yarn I didn't have I began knitting this cute little guy.

At first he was sad that his brother was stuck in the computer screen.

And then he was jealous that his brother hand wings and he didn't.

And then he was soon to realize that his brother was a 1 upper when he showed off his tail feathers when Tom just gotten his wings.

But Tom, he decided to show him....he got 5 tail feathers instead of 3!! I can't wait to knit up my own Thomas for my family this year, but I promised myself I had to knit 2 other items before I could start. Hope you enjoy Tom as much as I do!

Frame People No More!!

News flash, I, yes me, procrastinate, but shhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone. Mostly I only procrastinate when it comes to cleaning house or doing laundry or home work, or pretty much anything that doesn't involve crafts. So when I bought this frame 8 months ago because I instantly fell in love it didn't surprise me that it sat on the wall with picture people in it until today, yes TODAY, 8 months later.

Now if you look really closely you will see that one of those pictures is me and my brother, so I started...but didn't quite get around to filling the other 11 spaces. You see I just didn't quite know what I wanted to do with it. Then about a month ago I finally purchased the digital images of our family photo shoot from 2007, yep that's right 2007. We met up with a wonderful photographer, Prisilla B. Varner, in Monterey, California. I found out about her via her cousin Jessyca. I happened to send Prisilla and email about her pictures and told her I wished she was closer so that she could take our family photos, she lived in Nevada at the time and we were in Cali. Well it turned out we weren't the only family in Monterey that wanted her to shoot our photos so she came to visit and below is the gorgeous result! I am so happy with each and every shot she took. The only problem, The Fish is not in these pictures, well technically he my belly, but now we need new family pictures where he is present outside the womb! So here is the frame, with our family in it. No more Thing 1, Thing 2, Thing 3, Thing 4, Thing 5, etc (as Ky Guy callled them), just us in a beautiful place during a wonderful time for our family!

Here are just a couple of my favorites
